This is a good canyon when everything else is too high. With shallow pools and plenty of abseils and down climbs; it’s predominately a vertical canyon. In moderate to low flow it makes a great beginner canyon. There are multiple escapes or entry points meaning you can do as much or as little as you want.
This canyon is very bolt heavy with multiple ways to descend many of the drops and several options to rig guidelines. Some of the tat joining the bolts may need replacing and one bolts on the upper section could do with tightening. All good apart from that.
From Facebook on October 13th 2023: Doesn’t look like it’s been affected much by the water levels over the weekend. A couple of bolts needed tightening and possibly some more debris in the log jam highest up?
