Notes
A great low-flow canyon with a very small catchment area, making it a good option on high-water days. Bolting is still a work in progress, with a mixture of bolted anchors, single bolts and rock anchors using slings or tat. Bring some extra tat and anchor-building equipment just in case.
Description
Approach by Car: Park at Bruce's Stone car park. Approach by Foot: Follow the forest track around the loch. Continue along the track until you can see the waterfall coming down the mountainside. Once at the bottom of the canyon, head up the left-hand side, with a bit of bush bashing to reach the start of the descent. Canyon Descent: 12 back-to-back abseils with a mixture of bolted anchors and natural anchors. Exit: Once you reach the forest track at the bottom, follow it back to the car park.
