River Name: Gable Beck
Description
Approach from Wasdale Head to the confluence between ill gill and gable beck, just above the prominent large waterfall. Exit at the fence crossing the river in the valley bottom. 5 abseils, the first of which is the largest. Care needs to be taken on A3 in high water which drops into a strong hydraulic with small syphon.
