Description
Park at the bottom of the canyon, Approach either from the bottom of the canyon left hand side when facing the canyon right is too step to enter or using the forestry road slightly further along the road again on the left hand slide, carry on up until the track starts to flatten out here you can gain access using a small trib, around 350 contour on os maps. there doesn't look to much other then a gorge scramble at first, after walking down a bit you will pass through a rock doorway, and see the first abseil from here the canyon grows, around 6 abseils all very pretty the best being the 25m near the end. About half way the canyon narrow and Small gorge scramble to exit the canyon. First Descent - Galloway Canyoning, Oliver Martin
