Description
You have to park in Glenrriding village and walk up past YHA on the main path. You will arrive at a small man made water weir, going over the river, with a metal / concrete bridge. From here there are 4 pitches with a mix of deep and shallow pools with a deep canyon feel to it. You then arrive at a much flatter part of the river, just below the YHA, best exit is up the tributary back to the track.

Descended 28-09-2024
For reference, we attempted a previous descent with water level guage showing 0.5.
This was massive, backed off.
Today guage showed 0.3 and this was fun and easily managable abseiling in the flow.
Anchors in good condition, will need reassessing after Winter floods.
Great little canyon, shame it isn’t longer. Combined this and Swarth Beck for a good day out.
Descended on 12/08/22, Levels were low, all anchors are in good condition, we choose to use the tree as our anchor for A1, couldn’t find anything suitable on the dam. overall it makes for a great trip, just a shame it isn’t longer.
