Canyon contains some dangerous anchors that may require ghosting, escape is often dangerous or impossible, the canyon is of sufficient quality to install bolts on the drops that need it. Name of River: Eas a' Choin. (Duror river is nearby but not linked to this canyon).
Description
Approach by Car: Park at Kentallen and Duror Community centre across from the canyon.
Approach by foot: Approach river right up the steep hillside.
Canyon descent: 3x roped pitches: 35m, 7m, 40m plus 2 handlines. no jumps
Exit: The canyon will become a rocky river, exit on the right here.

Descended on 27/6/23. Team of 2 in high flow. Entered the canyon above the start only to find multiple DC’s leading to the true start of the canyon. the drops in the canyon are quite interesting with lines going into the flow. if you have time you can check out the cave below one of the big drops. If you’re planning on descending and have the skill too, id recommend the next team in places some bolts to make for a safer trip.
