Mixture of well placed single bolts and webbing that will most likely be washed out after the next rainfall. Take anchor gear with you expecting to place some in the lower section.
Description
Approach by Car: - Best parking at the end of the dam access road rather than on the main highway.
Approach by foot: - very steep approach straight up the fence line. Best to stay in the forested area as it's less bush bashing on the way up through the trees.
Canyon entry: - Enter the canyon just above the conjunction of streams just above the visible waterfalls.
Canyon descent: - Steep canyon which is mostly low flow and shallow pools. Very scenic and beautiful.
Exit: - at the dam and walk back on the access road
Escapes: - No escapes after A1
First Decent: - Jay Campbell, Tim Brown, Andrew Coultherd
