Description
Parking: Big layby, plenty of space.
Check levels: Can check levels at the bottom
Safe levels: Bottom should look relatively wide and tame. Most abseils aren’t very aquatic
but some pools could be tricky in higher flow
Approach: 40 mins. Cross the River Lyon at car park if levels allow. Follow path to bottom of
canyon then start hiking up the side of canyon on river right. After 50m there’s a gap in the
fence to cross. Traverse away from the canyon for a few hundred metres until you meet the
forestry track. Follow this all the way up to the get-in.
Get-in: Here. Enter at the wooden bridge where the two rivers above confluence.
Exit: Can continue all the way to the bottom. Climb out at lower bridge.

Descended team of 3 on 20th April 25. Cool canyon with lots of interesting features. Many many trees down within the canyon, making for fun ghosting, but heavy tree jams and some jumps had trees in the pools, making them unjumpable. Check pools before jumping. Still a good trip
