Ballaglass Glen is commercially used by the Venture Centre on a frequent basis, a courtesy call to (+44) 01624 814240 before entering is advised.
Description
Approach by Car: Park in the Ballaglass glen Car park. Approach by foot: At the car park follow signs to the glen passing one of many desolate cottages. you will reach a wooden wizard after about 5/10 minuets, head straight down to the river. Canyon entry: 54.279483, -4.357795. Canyon ascent: Loads of features which can be easily managed in normal flows. Rock is slippery so care will need to be taken, No hydraulics in normal flows. Escape is almost always possible. Exit: Either get out once you reach the deep pool with a slide above and a look out CL or to complete the top (less interesting section get out at the bridge) Escapes: Almost always escapable. footpath running either side of the gorge most of the way along. First Decent: Unknown
