Fun canyon with some impressive abseils. Decent bolts with a few natural anchors, slings and nuts along the way. Bring some tat.
Watch the sharp edge on the abseil under the rotten bridge. Last person abbed down on double ropes for this and would need a bag or something for the others.
Great outing, as Joe posted, well worth a visit and was a good alternative plan when other local canyons had too much water. The third (I think) abseil relies on a natural anchor from a small tree river left. We did not know this was there so used a thread in the river bed. Other than this excellent bolts on the seven other abseils with handling approaches on 4
Thought this was a fantastic canyon! Continued interest throughout in a great woodland setting. Well bolted with some spectacular abseils! Have to be a bit careful pulling ropes on some which were a bit sticky. Big thanks to the team that took the time equipping the canyon, a really good addition to the local area and well worth a visit. A good option when other canyons are too high.
