Only to add to Dougie’s write up below that Dulsie Bridge is very close to this canyon (3 min drive) and makes an excellent jump spot. I wouldn’t recommend driving far for this canyon alone but the double up makes it a worthwhile trip.
Somewhat interesting corkscrew pitch and enclosure but otherwise not very many features. Very green and log jammed. Not sure if we did it in low flow, but I would grade this A2. The finish at the river and walk back is very pretty.
Ran this one today, medium flow. It is a slow start walking through a level stream but then you’re suddenly straight into the main pitch. Abseil length is closer to 18m, my 30m rope needed another added for retrieval. It also got core shot on this pitch so there is a sharp edge somewhere.
There’s a few other small abseils and downclimbs with some log jam anchors & a few bolts. The canyon finishes in Findhorn river which is cool. Worth doing if in the area, the canyon would go in higher flows.
Descended on 7/12/25 team of 2 in low flow.
Very well bolted (thank you), good fun canyon. Low flow, 0.41m on the sepa gauge for the Findhorn at Logie Bridge, this gave a water depth of 5-7 cm in the pipes at the get in bridge, would be doable with a chunk more flow.
Descended on the 2/10/25 team of 2 in low flow.
A fun short canyon the cork screw abseil is cool and well bolted. There is a pitch about half way down that looks like a slide. .. can confirm it is not a slide pool is too shallow.
Great finish out on the river and then follow the trail back to the road.
