13/06/21 – Mountain Rescue: At 13:43 today the team responded to reports of a male swimmer in difficulty at the waterfalls of Ceunant Mawr Llanberis.
The swimmer was rescued from the water by the team and treated at the scene and sent to hospital
This was a multi agency response and we would like to thank the north Wales fire and rescue service, coast guard rescue helicopter, plus the local Llanberis man for all their help. Without their help, the outcome could of been very different.
We would just like to remind you all that swimming outdoors, especially in waterfalls can be extremely hazardous.
