The role of the board is to provide advice in the interest of the canyoning community in a recreational and commercial capacity. The board will influence decisions in the following topics; recreational canyon access, site information and functionality, (Future) distribution of the access fund and distribution of the anchor fund. The advisory board may also be called together to advise on other significant UK canyoning related topics.
How
Advisors are in regional categories and consulted when their region is affected. When a topic affecting all regions arises a national board will be called. Advisors can choose which regional category they would like to be in.
Where
The advisory board is held on the canyoning forum, you can subscribe to whichever boards you are interested in receiving updates from. Subscribers will receive email updates and can unsubscribe at any time.
Structure
The two types of boards are Regional and National. Regional boards are called to discuss topics concerning the country they are located in. The National board is called together when a topic concerning more than one country arises or for topics that require feedback from all advisors. Advisors choose which region they would like to be in.
