More Information
Verification
Over the course of 2023, we aim to verify the information we have about the canyons on our map. This means the informations has been checked and either updated or confirmed. This can be done by anyone with the appropriate skills. If you’d like to help us verify canyons, please email canyonlog@mail.com.
Topos
Topo maps are one of the best single pieces of information you can have for a canyon, A clear illustration of pitches, water movements, commitment, character and hazards make descents easier to plan for leading to better decision making and lessens the risk of issues during a descent. If you’d like to help us add topos, please email canyonlog@mail.com.
Dams
Dams can be found above aquatic canyons around the UK. Knowing about the presence of a dam upstream and what type it is will reduce the chances of getting caught out mid descent. We are aiming to publish Information about these dams on all the relevant canyon pages. If you’d like to help us add Information about dams, please email canyonlog@mail.com.
Access
Our commitment to preserving long term access for all canyoneers continues, please follow any guidance outlined on the specific canyon pages to prevent further issues. If, you’re aware of access issues that are not already published or you believe an issue already published is now resolved, please email canyonlog@mail.com.
