Canyon Experience :

an expectedly good trip.
i think the way has been cleared since the previous reports.
from the car park head up the gorge, with the first half before the foot bridge reminding me of something you would do with the family on a summers day, as you come round the corner after the bridge the ascent gets pretty fun, at the end you can climb out using the trib on the left, but if you carry on a little further first you will find the main falls and a cave entrance, i didn’t mange to explore much of the cave but it seems to go on pretty far.
you can easily escape on your left here to if you are facing the water fall.

Canyon Experience :

Ascended up Yewdale Beck from the roadbridge to Tilberthwaite Gill. More of a shallow river walk than a gorge walk but an okay option in high water. Didn’t seem like you could ascend Tilberthwaite Gill anymore, but I heard there used to be plastic handholding in the Gill which allowed an ascent. We got out at the first footbridge. Could be an interesting to look at a descent between the footbridges; only saw one pitch. Could be more?

Canyon Experience :

Bridge rebuilt but some damage on exit path worth spotting if using with groups of children as this ghyll.
