Notes
River Name: Allt Gleann a’Chaolais. Unlike most canyons, this one needs more water to be worthy of a descent, if you go when it's low, the rock will be too grippy and you won't be able to slide, That being said, do not descend the canyon when in full flood.
Description
Approach by Car: Park in the small Lay-by on the downstream side of the bridge (Glen Coe side). Approach by foot: Follow the track uphill on the TR side of the canyon. When the path starts to level out and curve into the valley, head down to the river, it would be mostly flat above where you get in. Canyon descent: A open canyon with several drops and pools, you decide what you want to do with each drop, if you don't want to abseil you can climb out and around, most pools are waist deep so check before jumping. Exit: once you get to the bridge, climb out on the left. Escapes: always possible.

Canyon Experience :

Descended early July 24. The short abseil near the top has changed – big rockfall on river left I think(?!), and is now definitely not jumpable, but surprisingly almost all of the other slides and small jumps are still doable! (Some pools near the very bottom seem shallower but can’t be sure.) Definitely still worthwhile.
