Description
Parking in a car park next to a café. From here, walk up the private road, which turns into a gravel track. The gravel track itself is the easy approach to reach a very obvious waterfall. This is trib is where we enter.
Multiple abseils follow. The first anchor is on true left. Please note there is no easy option for a natural anchor or ghost on pitch 2. Use the anchor on pitch 1 to abseil, then pull down after pitch 2. This canyon could be nicely bolted.
After continuing down the canyon, you reach the gorge at the bottom. From here, it’s about an hour and a half of gorge scrambling with a few jumps along the way. This top section is not escapable until you reach the gorge at the bottom. There is an easy escape true right if you don’t want to do the full gorge scramble — you can exit and walk along the river up the hill until returning to the bottom.
To exit, when you see the cabin true left, climb up towards it to reconnect with the original gravel track you walked in on, which will take you back to the gorge parking. Page information - Galloway Canyoning

Descended on 29/10/25 with a team of three in medium flow.
Easy walk-in leading to a worthwhile canyon with good abseils down the trib. A new natural anchor installed on pitch 1, true left. Once you hit the river at the bottom, there’s a long gorge scramble with a few jumps and some easy escapes true right. Overall, a good fun trip.
